Rally America – Leg 1 Complete at 100AW

It was finally time to see cars on stage and driving in anger for the Rally in the 100 Acre Woods. There were at least five cars on hand with a chance to win the event overall. All eyes were on three drivers however. Ken Block, David Higgins, and Antoine L’Estage were the leaders for their respected manufacturers. When the first car went live at 2:01pm, all gloves were off and the battle dubbed “Clash of the Titans” was under way. Ken Block and his HFHV would take the first…

Rally America – Ken Block Returns to the 100 Acre Wood

Normally, I’m not keen on just posting a press release and leaving it at that, but in this case, I don’t know what else to say. Ken Block returning to the 100 Acre Wood? Outstanding! He has absolutely owned the event in past years having won the rally more often than any other person in the event’s history. To be sure, we will have photos and hopefully some interviews as well as Shaun and I head to the 100 Acre Wood next week to cover the event. KEN BLOCK TO…

Rally – Not So Fast Kimi…

What is proving to be difficult is actually finding where Kimi Raikkonen will land for 2011. Earlier this week we had mentioned that a switch to Monster World Rally was all but certain after Finnish media indicated talk between Red Bull and Kimi had broken down. The wild card out of this potential deal is the fact we may even see Kimi in NASCAR! We have known for sometime that Citroen was probably only fielding four cars in the 2011 championship. Sebastien Loeb and Ogier occupy two…
