Round one of the Rally America National Championship kicked off this last weekend with the iconic Sno*Drift Rally in Atlanta, Michigan. Three Rally America Titles Decided in New England and Duplessis Shows He’s Still Fast
Well it’s official and expected. David Higgins and Craig Drew of Subaru Rally Team USA win the New England Forest Rally, and with that the overall 2014 Rally America National Championship. This is their 4th consecutive Rally America title and there are still two events remaining to run. Hopefully a recently announced change to the refueling system for the 2010 IndyCar season will see a reduction in the number of premature drive-offs and fuel spills that lead to the fiery pit-lane incidents that we saw in 2009. Two such incidents stand out in my mind: Meira’s fire at Indianapolis, and Tony “The Torch” Kanaan’s fire in Edmonton.
