Rally – Fiesta S2000 Test Update

The newest challenger from the Ford stables has successfully completed its first round of testing. The Ford Fiesta S2000 has completed it initial gravel and tarmac tests as it continues it’s early yet accelerated development. M-Sport, who is responsible for Ford’s rallying program has carried out the initial tests of the car as they prepare for the 2010 season. The Rally America series has released its 2010 schedule and there’s a mix of good and bad for rally fans. First of all the bad: there will only be six instead of nine events for the national championship. Rally – A Championship Decided

Both WRC championships could be closed out this weekend for the Rally Catalunya. One of those championships was won and Sebastian Loeb and Dani Sordo closed out the manufacturer’s title for Citroen with their dominant 1-2 finish.
