IndyCar – Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach Recap

By: Kevin Neeley Will Freakin Power. What does it take to keep him in the back of the grid? Not even a ten grid spot penalty for the mass unauthorized engine change for all Chevrolet teams could keep the Terror from Toowoomba down. For the second race in a row, Power overcomes qualifying woes to take the win. This time, it just happened to be on the Streets of Long Beach. The Top Ten was an interesting mishmash of names, but the real thrill was right at the front for…

IndyCar – Thursday, March 29 Barber Report

Editor’s Note: Kevin Neely has been kind enough to write some articles for us while down at Barber Motorsports Park this week. I would like to personally thank Kevin for reaching out and offering his observations! There’s one thing for certain about late March/early April in Central Alabama; the weather is going to be anything but predictable. For the past two years, the Honda Indy Grand Prix of Alabama presented by Legacy Credit Union has had the luxury of Chamber of Commerce weather conditions. This year, however, that streak looks…

Autosport.com featured an article this morning that indicated Lotus was in fact capable of supplying the teams they had signed for the entire season. That includes bonus parts and support for HVM, Herta, DRR, and Dragon. The recent change in ownership…

F1 – Wild One in Malaysia

The Formula 1 World Championship was at it again this week from the awesome Sepang Circuit in Malaysia. One thing about this race is the weather often times is a factor like it was this weekend. What we also saw this weekend was something nobody could have really predicted with Fernando Alonso taking the win for Scuderia Ferrari. The F2012 is truly a pig in every department. It looks hideous and has just as many problems with handling and other on track performances. However, with Alonso at the helm it…
