As we now approach the ALMS race at Lime Rock, the discussion has finally started on revamping the current class system to just two classes. Since the departure of the Le Mans big shots Audi this season and the death of Porsche in the LMP2 class, the racing has been junk. We have witnessed one car dominate each of the classes except GT2. Acura has a firm grip on the LMP1 and LMP2 series because they are the only car really taking part. The kicker to that point is Acura…

Rally – LDR 16 July Blog
Recce took us about 12 hours today. One pass recce on organizer supplied JEMBA notes. Some new stages, but most are familiar. More rocks poking up than usual. Grip will be an issue on some stages that are sandy and some others that are covered with coarse, loose gravel. Rally – STPR Review and Thoughts
So the very brief STPR has concluded and if I have learned anything…it is that I will not be picking lottery numbers anytime soon. Ken Block has taken victory for the second time this year in impressive fashion and the points battle has become even closer. The rally was fast and furious and Block set the early tempo. My favorite for the race and P-WRC driver Patrik Sandell fell out of the event after the first stage! While the reason is not 100%, the team did blame an engine failure…

The Rally America series moves from the beautiful Pacific Northwest and into the equally nice New England area. The STPR is one of the toughest rallies on the calendar for the championship and this weekend has entered a wildcard there will definately play. Patrik Sandell from the P-WRC class has entered the event in hopes of making the X games later this season. Sandell has joined the NCRALLY Team and looks to win the event and earn his first X Games apperance. I am predicting a win for Sandell as…
