Day 2 of Rally Argentina brought a large amount of drama and a first for this season. Dani Sordo started the day with Mikko Hirvonen in tow by5 seconds but boy how things changed. Day 1 of Rally Argentina is in the books for the WRC and thus far Dani Sordo has taken a slight 5 second lead over Ford driver Mikko Hirvonen. Sebastian Loeb rounds out the top three in a day that saw a number of lead changes through tough gravel stages. Rally- Pastrana Takes Olympus

It what proved to be an amazing race weekend, Travis Pastrana has taken the Olympus Rally in Aberdeen Washington. After day 1 it looked like teammate Ken Block was the man to beat, however a turbo failure early in day 2 all but ended his chances. The first day of competition is in the book for Rally America’s Olympus Rally. Round 3 traces through the rugged Washington forest and forces all drivers to use their full range of skills. In what was a very impressive drive, Sebastian Loeb has went 4 for 4 this year and is a real threat to win every event on the calendar. Day 2 is in the books for Rally Portugal and like yesterday, there have been a number of incidents that have really shaped the rally. Marcus Gronholm has taken himself out of the competition after an accident which is really a shame for the former champion’s one off event. This weekend is the beginning of round 4 for the WRC calendar and it sees the championship in Portugal. The first of seven rallies straight on a consistent gravel surface and the season has now officially began. IRC Safari Rally Preview

The IRC will now kick off its third round this weekend in the historic Safari Rally that will take place in Kenya on the African continent. The rally is entering its 57th installment and will start with a spectator stage in Nairobi on Friday 3 April. The rally will then open up into grueling gravel stages and conclude Sunday.
