F1 – USF1 HQ for Sale???

In a story that has been originaly reported by The Inside Line, the USF1 HQ in Charlotte NC is reportedly up for sale. There has been no official announcement, however the listing does indicate that the building is a Formula 1 race shop and that there had been $620,000 in renovations since last year. The lease was orginally until 2014, and this teamed with no second driver announcement has to have folks scratching their head. Rally – Hirvonen Extends Lead on Day 2

Mikko Hirvonen has moved closer to securing the opening round of the 2010 WRC campaign. The Finn has increased his lead to 16 secs after the today’s stages. With only five stages remaining, even the defending series champion admits it will be tough to overhaul last year’s runner up. Hirvonen was able to take advantage when the two front runners opted for new tires at different points. Loeb put on fresh tires on the front while leaving severely worn tires on the rear. The second official winter test of the 2010 season has began this week and we have day one times and highlights. A few drivers were able to set some dry lap times before rain moved into the area causing slower lap times. This provided a chance for the teams to test their new cars in the wet conditions.
