The Cooper Tires USF2000 National Championship Powered by Mazda held it’s first triple-header weekend this past Friday and Saturday at the historic Road America circuit in Elkhart Lake, WI. USF2000 – Friday Practice at Mid-Ohio

It’s been a long summer off for the USF2000 drivers. The Championship class last competed in May on the 5/8-mile oval at Lucas Oil Raceway in Indianapolis the Saturday before the Indianapolis 500 Mile Race. The broadcast schedule for the Mazda Motorsports Hour is out! Over the next several months, you can catch highlights of the Playboy Mazda MX-5 Cup, the Cooper Tires Presents the USF2000 National Championship Powered by Mazda, and the Star Mazda Championship Presented by Goodyear races on Velocity TV, albeit tape-delayed by a month or so from the actual event. The car count was again huge for the Cooper Tires Presents the USF2000 National Championship Powered by Mazda. Thirty-four cars took to the Streets of St. Petersburg for Rounds 3 and 4 of the 2012 season, and again race fans were treated to great action on track in both the Championship and National Classes.
