I faced last year and I was able to measure professionalism. I think we can count on a strong team and a great crew. My first goal is to finish the race and it would be a dream to finish on the podium. This will be a first for me in prototype, but I rolled car and I know how a car works with aero downforce. I hope to adapt quickly. I need to learn but I am involved and committed to sign a beautiful performance! ”
An ORECA 03 and Audi R8 LMS ultra European Le Mans Series!
The “endurance” program Sébastien Loeb Racing will focus on this first participation in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The European Le Mans Series will be the thread with both an ORECA 03 in the premier class, and an Audi R8 LMS Ultra GTC. The crews of these two cars will be announced in the coming weeks. “The European Le Mans Series is a consistent choice in the construction of our overall program,” said Dominique Heintz. “We will return to our prototype, and we already know the ELMS to be rolled in 2012. In addition to preparing for the 24 Hours of Le Mans, we have the opportunity to fight for the overall victory and our partners are mainly European. The championship has also shown interesting last year, with great battles on the track. “This decision is all the more sense it allows us to align the Audi R8 LMS ultra for a second program parallel to the France GT Championship. With this car, we will be present on a “sprint” and another rather typical “endurance” series. It is interesting for the technical team, who will be able to complete its scope, but also for our partners. And we know that the Audi R8 LMS ultra is efficient in all these styles of competition! The third season of existence the team looks simply fascinating. ”
