Day 1  – Portland International Raceway

Day 2

 

9am – Competitors are at parc expose in The Dalles, preparing to head out to the first stages of the day. Todays weather is expect to be sunny with light wind, and a high of 85f.

10:20am – Cars have started stage 3 – Check out the start line here care of Sophia McKee

11:13am – livestream from stage 4, by Fetelas team 

11:29am – top cars are through stage 4 and headed to first service of the day – waiting on stage 3 times, but hearing Higgins is fastest

12pm Update Oregon Trail Rally – cars are in service. Stage 3 and 4 times showed Higgins taking the stage wins gaing 9 seconds over Pastrana on SS4. With his puncture on Friday night, and Higgins losing 12 seconds, this puts him back to within 3 seconds after the mornings stages. 
With McKennas damage last night, he’s is out of the podium running for now but climbing back fast, This puts Semenuk in 3rd, over a minute behind Higgins, but in a tight battle with Seehorn, only 6 seconds back. *based on unofficial times.

1pm – Cars have started Stage 5, Maryhill, a famous tarmac switchback road – Livstream from Fetela team

1:40pm – Higgins and Pastrana tie on stage 5. Seehorn loses 30 seconds on Semenuk which brings McKenna within 1 second of overtaking *unofficialmath

 

2:26pm Official Standing now show Seehorn with a big loss of time on SS4, which makes the top standings after SS4:

Adding in SS5 unofficial times, not much has changed. McKenna close in by 8 more seconds on Semenuk.

Stage 6 – Higgins wins the stage by 7 seconds, which puts him in the lead over Pastrana by 3 seconds. Meanwhile, McKenna claws back another 15 seconds from Semenuk, putting him only 28 second out of 3rd now. *unofficialmath

Stage 7 – Higgins leading by 4 seconds now. McKenna closes to 23 seconds on Semenuk. Cars had back to service.

Stage 8 – Higgins widens his lead to 11 seconds over Pastrana in 2nd. Mckenna closes to 17 seconds behind Semenuk in 3rd. Burress not so lucky.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Stage 9 – End of Day1. Higgins adds another 5 seconds to his lead. McKenna closes in on Semenuk by another 7 seconds. In 2wd drive it appears Deen is leading in an unusual 2004 Acura RSX Type S.


Day 3

 

6:15am – 8 stage to run today and the official overnight scores show Seehorn back in 5th, and well able to challenge Semenuk, McKenna climbed back all day yesterday and is poised to overtake Semenuk for 3rd.

Stage 10 – Higgins is still flat out, and Pastrana falls back by 30 seconds. Seehorn makes a comeback taking 2nd fastest in the stage, while Mckenna closes within 5 seconds of Semenuk for 3rd overall.

Stage 11 – McKenna overtaked Semenuk and moves up to 3rd overall

Near same times for top 3 contenders. Pastrana remains 54 seconds behind Higgins.

Stage 13 – Same times again for Higgins and Pastrana. McKenna widens lead to 31 seconds over Semenuk. Meanwhile Bailey in 6th in 2wd seems to be enjoying himself.

Stage 15 – Two more stages to go. Higgins leads by nearly a minute over Pastrana. Erik Potts, 12th overall in the national entries after stage 12, and leading national 2wd entries, is sturggling with ovrheating.

End of Rally! 

Higgins wins overall, with Pastrana (+59s) in 2nd, and McKenna third (+3:38). In 2wd , Erik Potts was fastest with Dave Clark (+1:14) and Jordan Guitar (+1:25) filling out the podium.
