Fan Guides – OpenPaddock Needs YOU!

Over the coming weeks and months as our various motorsport series wind down and take the winter off, we thought it would be a good time to start getting ready for the 2011 season. Trying to be true to our moto “For the fans, by the fans” we thought we’d put some effort into developing a set of fan guides for the various venues and events that we attend and cover. Certainly, three hacks from the Midwest can’t cover it all, though, so we need your help. If you have a favourite venue with which you’re very familiar, we’d love to hear your thoughts on what to do, what to avoid, suggestions for lodging and local grub, and how to deal with the traffic. Any and all suggestions are welcome for any and all venues and types of motorsports. Have you been to the Formula 1 race in Montreal? Great! Do you prefer 1/4-mile dirt track action? Fantastic! We love that stuff, too! Our goal is to have one of the most comprehensive community-generated collections of track and event guides around. Send us your guides or comments on ones that we already have in place, and lets help everyone enjoy going to the races as best we can.

You can see our collection (albeit extremely short now) of guides by clicking the Fan Guides tab in the upper right.
