Rally- Pastrana Takes Olympus

pastranaIt what proved to be an amazing race weekend, Travis Pastrana has taken the Olympus Rally in Aberdeen Washington. After day 1 it looked like teammate Ken Block was the man to beat, however a turbo failure early in day 2 all but ended his chances. Andrew Comrie-Picard and his NOS energy Evolution took the runner up position. This is a great boost for his title chances as he separates himself from Tanner Foust. Foust who finished third had a transmission issue on day 1, but Foust’s skills teamed with his Monster Energy drink Evo X were able to salvage a podium finish. With that Podium, Foust is still very much in contention with ACP for the series title after three rounds.

The Rally America series constantly puts out some of the best fought rallies. It is a true treat for fans to attend these free events and watch some truly amazing drivers compete on the best surfaces the US has to offer.  The next rally is the Oregon Trail Rally 15-17 May and Open Paddock will be posting results and the days news.
