Le Mans – Sharp GT2 Owner
Scott Sharp has raced in Trans-Am, IndyCar, and in Le Mans competition. However, yesterday Scott announced his intentions on running a GT2 team in the American Le Mans Series. The team will be named Extreme Speed and will run the Ferrari 430 according to AUTOSPORT. This will add yet another car to the already full and highly competitive GT2 class. Le Mans – Dixon at de Ferran for Petit
The de Ferran Motorspots LMP1 Acura speeding through the Esses.Scott Dixon will join de Ferran motorsport for Petit Le Mans. Dixon has ran in three previous ALMS races with the team and even put the Acura on pole for Sebring at the start of this year. IndyCar – Sonoma Test
The teams from the IndyCar series are enjoying a break in the action this weekend, but next week it is off to Sonoma for the last road course of the year. This past week saw the teams test at Sonoma in preparation and Mike Conway was the man to beat. Conway who drives for Dreyer & Reinbold set a lap of 1m17.48s.
