Indy Lights – Schmidt Peterson Motorsports Signs Sage Karam for 2013

As if the Schmidt Peterson Motorsports stable wasn’t already stacked with talent, the juggernaut team in Firestone Indy Lights announced the signing of a third supremely talented driver, Sage Karam. To be honest, I and many others just took it as a given that Sage would be with Zach Veach at the Andretti Autosport team, the team he’s been with ever since joining the Mazda Road to Indy in the USF2000 Championship back in 2010. As we saw... [Read More...]

Indy Lights – No New Chassis for YOU!

So today, Curt Cavin broke the news on Twitter, and the press release from IndyCar followed not too long after, that the new chassis that we’d been expecting in 2014 will have to wait a little while longer. The current chassis and engine spec was originally laid out in 2002 when the series was reincarnated as the Menard’s Infinity Pro Series after the CART version of Indy Lights terminated at the end of the 2001 season. The series at the... [Read More...]

This year, there have already been plenty of lineup announcements with only a handful of possible seats remaining. Here’s how things currently shape up. Team Penske Helio Castroneves and Will Power... [Read More...]

He won his first race in the series in 2006, although he was unable to contest the full championship season. In the A1GP 2006-2007 season, he drove for Team Mexico... [Read More...]

IndyLights – Firestone Indy Lights 2013 Schedule

INDYCAR released the race schedule for the 2013 Firestone Indy Lights season. We already knew the IZOD IndyCar Series schedule, so the details of the Indy Lights schedule really comes as no surprise. One thing I am rather surprised at is the absence of the Circuit Trois-Rivières from the schedule. Instead of racing in Canada, the Firestone Indy Lights series rejoins the IZOD IndyCar Series at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course the first weekend... [Read More...]
