RallyCast Episode 57 – Oregon Trail Rally Review Part 2 with Karen Jankowski and Preston Osborn

This is Part 2 of our OTR review we recorded last week with Karen Jankowski and Preston Osborn, two of America’s best co-drivers who switched to the driver’s seat for the 2019 DirtFish Oregon Trail Rally.  We pick up right where we left off in Episode 56 and discuss what it’s like being farther down the start order, dodging fence posts and rolled cars, the complexities of timing issues, ARA’s recent media changes, and the value of regional events including Ian’s review from the Headwaters regional rally.

Great two part episode! I really like the conversation about media. I always thought of rally as a free to the fans and the people. Making people pay for content just doesn’t sit to well with me. I feel like it will not be a popular place for the current rallyest but it may attract new people. Like Karen said I think they need to go after all the options.
Thanks you for what you do for the rally community Mike I miss seeing the passion you brought to the Facebook live streams! Maybe Openpaddock could do something similar. Keep on doing you Mike!
Oh an never get rid of the M3 sound bit at the end. Gives me chills and puts me on stage everytime!
    Rally on!
